When Do The Pools Open In Las Vegas Hotels – When you think of Las Vegas, one of the first things that comes to mind is sunny pool scenes.
While the summer pool season is in full swing, what many visitors don’t realize is that the weather in Vegas can be downright chilly in the winter. With cold temperatures in mind, many resorts close their pools during the winter months.

The Best Las Vegas Hotel Pools In A 2021 Covid 19 Era
I thought it would be helpful to compile a list of Las Vegas pools on the Strip, downtown and near the Strip that are open in the winter.
Bellagio: Bellagio’s gorgeous pool deck is open in the winter, and both large pools are heated to 84 degrees.
MGM Grand: One heated pool (their main pool) remains open during the winter months at the MGM Grand, although most of their 6.5-acre complex is closed.
Aria: The verdant Aria pool area is open for business in the winter when the water heats up to 80 degrees. If you are staying at Vdara you can also use the Aria pool as the Vdara pool closes in October.
The Cosmopolitan’s Pools Get Ready To Open With Views Above The Las Vegas Strip
MGM Park: At least one pool at MGM Park, usually their South Pool (pictured below), is outdoor and heated to 80 degrees in the winter.
Mandalay Bay: While most of Mandalay Bay’s luxury pool complex closes in the winter, at least one heated pool is always open for guests to use. Their assigned pool rotates according to their maintenance schedule.
Palazzo / Venetian: The pool deck will be open and heated during the winter months. However, there will be no booths.
Wynn/Encore: Although portions of the pool may occasionally be closed for maintenance, the pool remains open to guests during the winter.
The Best Pools In Vegas: Venetian, Caesars, And More
Resort World: The newest complex and one of the best pool complexes on the Strip will be open and heated all winter long. Spanning 5.5 acres and featuring 7 unique pools, this is one pool deck that everyone should experience. It should be noted that the south end of the hotel has an infinity pool overlooking the strip.
The Mirage: While the Mirage’s main pool closes in the winter, the smaller private oasis pool is open and heated until the mid-70s.
Cosmopolitan: Cosmo’s Chelsea pool (at the south end of the hotel) is open to guests throughout the winter and is heated to about 80 degrees.
Plaza: The Plaza’s exclusive rooftop pool is open year-round and offers a great view of D*Face’s Behind Closed Doors mural. Guests will have access to both a heated pool and a hot tub.
The Hottest Las Vegas Pools Are Now Open
Circa: With 6 pools, 2 pools, and poolside games, Circa’s Stadium Swim is easily described as the best pool on Fremont Street. Adding to the excitement is the 143-foot screen, which is always geared for the big game.
Downtown Grand: DTG’s Grand Pool Deck is open during the winter, though food and beverages are not available. The rooftop pool gets plenty of sun and offers a great view of downtown Las Vegas.
Red Rock: The Sandbar Pool Complex at Red Rock is outdoor and heated to 78 degrees throughout the winter.
Green Valley Ranch: The luxury Henderson Resort pool complex is open and heated in the winter. In winter, the pool is open from 10:00 to 16:00, weather permitting.
Las Vegas Hotel Pools Warned About Social Distancing
South Point: Although the pool is open year-round, they usually stop heating in October. It will be uncomfortable, but if you don’t mind a cool swim, the South Point pool is an option.
We hope we were able to help you find a pool if you’re crazy enough to take a dip in October, November, December, January or February. Enjoy your swim – see you at the bar.

Ultimately, I want to help people plan a better trip and save a few bucks.
I’m trying to find a place where I can just sunbathe. All Caesar’s pools are now closed and I am not staying at any of the properties listed. Anyone have any suggestions – I’m willing to pay (a reasonable amount) to get some sun.
@KEITH FORTNER try Circa! I know they let anyone in and charge a cover which varies by day. I recommend arriving early if it’s a weekend to claim a property.
