This got us thinking – can you use the pool in Las Vegas even if you’re not staying at the resort?

It depends. Usually, the answer is no, and a room key is required to access the pool. However, there are exceptions for off-property and local guests.

Below we will explain which pools you can access (free or paid) even if you don’t live in the area.

Note: Las Vegas is wet and can change quickly. As always, we recommend calling the pool directly to confirm their current policy before traveling!

Unfortunately, there are currently no resorts that offer free non-guest access to their pool. Topgolf, below, is Las Vegas’ only free pool open to the public.

Topgolf’s Hideout Pool: It may not be a resort, but Topgolf’s second pool is open to the public, as long as you’re over 21. Note that no purchase is necessary. Just show up and sleep!

Tropicana: Local residents can access the Tropic pool for free any day of the week with a valid Nevada driver’s license.
