It made us think. Can you use a Las Vegas pool even if you’re not at the resort?
It depends. Usually the answer is no and you need a room key to access the pool. There are exceptions, however, for visitors and locals alike.
Below we will outline the pools you can access (paid or free) even if you don’t live on property.
Note: Las Vegas is fluid and can change quickly. As always, we recommend that you call the pool directly to confirm their current policies before traveling.
Vegas Pools Making A Splash
Unfortunately, there are currently no resorts that offer guests free access to their pool. Topgolf Down Under is the only free pool in Las Vegas open to everyone.
Topgolf’s Hideaway Pool. It may not be a tourist attraction, but Topgolf’s 2-level pool is open to the public if you’re 21 or older. Note that there is no purchase. Just sit back and relax.
Tropicana Residents can enter Tropic’s pool for free any day of the week with a valid Nevada driver’s license.
Timirta After being closed for 2 years, Timirta has reopened and allows residents to enter the pool from Monday to Thursday. Just bring your NV ID.

Caesar Entertainment Properties. Renting a cabana or day bed at the pool of your choice guarantees you access even if you’re not at the resort. Cabanas and day beds can be pre-ordered online at the property of your choice.
Resorts under the Caesars umbrella include Caesars Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Linq, Harrah’s, Cromwell, Bally’s, Rio and Flamingo.
MGM Resorts Features. Although the MGM pools do not offer day passes, the pools are still available for those who wish to spend a cabana or day bed. We recommend checking out Mandalay Bay Beach or the MGM Grand pool complex. Both are equipped with a lazy river. Check cabana rates here.
Resorts under the MGM umbrella include Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, NYNY, Park MGM, Aria, MGM Grand, Bellagio and Mirage.
Are Las Vegas Pools Heated In Winter? A Complete List
Downtown Grand. Non-recreational guests can access the Downtown Grand rooftop pool with a cabana or table reservation.
Cosmopolitan. Purchasing a cabana or daybed will unlock access to both the Boulevard and Chelsea pools at the Cosmopolitan. The prepayment is the minimum amount of food and drink you can spend at the pool.
Plaza The plaza’s rooftop pool is available to anyone who rents a cabana, which costs $125 on weekdays and $200 on weekends. Of that cost, $50 is rent, while the remaining balance can be used to purchase food and drinks at the pool.
A Golden Nugget. The pool deck of the tank is again available to non-hotel guests for an entry fee. Prices range from $35 to $45 depending on the day. Note that the swimming pool is for hotel guests only on weekends. If you are interested, you can call Guest Services at (702) 500-1606 to get rates for your specific date.
Non Guest Pool Access In Las Vegas
Approx. Circa’s swimming pool is available for non-residential guests for a fee starting at $20 but can be more during peak seasons. Our suggestion: Place a sports bet before hitting the pool, then take in the game on the 143-foot giant amphitheater. We think you’ll agree that Circa is one of the best pools in Vegas.
Red Rock Resort. Anyone can enter Red Rock’s beautiful Sandbar swimming pool for $25 ($10 for children 16 and under). Despite its location away from the Strip, Sandbar offers amenities such as pool games and multiple pools throughout the complex.
Note that non-guest access to the Red Rock pool is based on occupancy, which can make weekends a bit more difficult. However, renting day beds or cabins guarantees access.
Green Valley. Like Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch offers a beautiful pool off the Strip with a real sand beach. Non-hotel guests can enter the pool for $25 ($10 for children 16 and under).
Caesars Palace Pool: One Of The Best Pools In Las Vegas
Note that access is based on availability, so it may be more difficult to get in on weekends. However, renting a day bed or cabin guarantees your entry.
M Resort. Non-hotel guests can enter the M Resort pool for $10 Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday through Sunday. Children are always $10.
Palms Non-Palm guests can still use their pool for a $15 fee Monday through Thursday and $20 Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Most Las Vegas pools are open to the public, provided you’re willing to pay to rent a cabana or daybed.

Mirage Bare. The tropical theme of the day club is the perfect continuation of the atmosphere of the entire resort. The club itself is very close. only 14,000 square feet of space offering an amazing variety of unique drinks.
Liquid Aria’s “energetic DJs” keep the music flowing at Liquid, which also has a 30-seat bar/restaurant. Admission usually starts at $10 for women and $20 for men.
Cromwell Drai. Located on the roof of the Cromwell, this 35,000-square-foot beach club offers spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip. Caesars Entertainment hotel guests have free access to the beach club until noon, and tickets must be purchased by non-Caesars guests.

Mandalay Bay Daylight. Featuring a 4,400-square-foot pool, The Light offers a full summer schedule starting at $20 for women and $30 for men.
Wet Republic at MGM Grand. In a 54,000 square foot building, Wet Republic showcases some of the hottest DJ talent.
