It depends. Usually the answer is no and you need a room key to access the pool. However, there are exceptions for both off-property visitors and local residents.
Below we’ll tell you which pools you can access (free or paid) even if you’re not staying on property.
NOTE: Las Vegas is fluid and can change quickly. As always, we recommend calling the pool directly to confirm your current policy prior to your trip.
When Do Pools Close In Vegas In 2022
Unfortunately, there are currently no resorts that offer free access to their pool for non-guests. Topgolf below is the only completely free pool in Las Vegas that is open to everyone.
Topgolf Hideaway Pool: It may not be a resort, but Topgolf’s 2-level pool is open to the public if you’re 21 or older. Please note that no purchase is necessary. Just show up and relax!
Tropicana: Local residents have free access to the Trop pool any day of the week with a valid Nevada driver’s license.
The Palms – After being closed for 2 years, The Palms has reopened allowing locals to visit the pool for free Monday through Thursday. Just bring your NV ID.

Caesars Entertainment Properties: When you rent a cabana or daybed at your preferred pool, you’ll have access even if you’re not staying at the resort. Cabins and berths can be pre-booked online with your preferred property.
Resorts under the Caesars umbrella include Caesars Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Linq, Harrah’s, Cromwell, Bally’s, Rio and Flamingo.
MGM Resorts Properties: While no MGM pools offer day passes, the pools are still available for those who want to splurge on a cabana or lounger. We recommend visiting Mandalay Bay Beach or the expansive pool complex at MGM Grand. Both are equipped with a lazy river. Explore taxi fares by resort here.
Resorts under the MGM umbrella include Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, NYNY, Park MGM, Aria, MGM Grand, Bellagio, and Mirage.
When The Pool Parties Of Las Vegas Open For The Season
Downtown Grand: Non-resort guests can access Downtown Grand’s rooftop Citrus pool deck by reserving a cabana or table.
Cosmopolitan: With the purchase of a cabana or daybed, you will be able to access the Boulevard and Chelsea pools at Cosmopolitan. The fee you pay in advance is the minimum for food and drink that can be spent in the pool afterwards.
Plaza: The Plaza rooftop pool is available to anyone who rents a cabana, which is $125 on weekdays and $200 on weekends. $50 of this fee is for the rental and the remaining balance can be used to purchase food and drinks at the pool.
Golden Nugget: The Tank Pool Deck is once again available to non-hotel guests for a fee paid at the gate. Prices range from $35 to $45 depending on the day. Please note that the pool is reserved for hotel guests only on Saturdays. If you are interested, you may call Guest Services at (702) 500-1606 for rates for your specific date.
Bally’s Las Vegas Pool: Best Vegas Strip Pool With Deep End
Circa: Stadium Swim at Circa is available to non-residents for a cover charge starting at $20, but can be higher during peak hours. Our recommendation? Place a sports bet before you hit the pool, then play on the massive 143-foot amphitheater screen. We think you’ll agree that Circa is one of the best pools in Las Vegas.
Red Rock Resort: Everyone can access Red Rock’s stunning Sandbar pool deck for a $25 entry fee ($10 for children 16 and under). Although the Sandbar is located away from the Strip, it offers amenities such as pool games and several pools located throughout the complex.
Please note that non-guest access to Red Rock Pool is subject to occupancy, which might make it a little difficult on weekends. However, renting a berth or cabin will guarantee entry.
Green Valley Ranch – Like Red Rock, Green Valley Ranch offers a beautiful pool complex away from the Strip along with a real sandy beach. Non-hotel guests can access the pool for $25 ($10 for children 16 and under).

Aria Liquid: “Power DJs” keep the music flowing at Liquid, which also features a 30-seat bar/restaurant. Admission usually starts at $10 for women and $20 for men.
