What Wdw Hotels Are Open – Disney World closed its theme parks on Sept. 28 and 29, canceled special events, closed some hotels, and even closed the airport due to the storm. But what if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel and want to eat? We have all the updates you need right here.
Due to the tropical storm, various locations at Disney World, including restaurants at Disney World hotels, may be unavailable. Disney World’s weather update page notes that they “will continue to operate select restaurants at the resort and availability is subject to change.”

What’s New At Disney World Hotels: An Obscure Character Cake And The Polynesian Monorail Returns
Disney’s Riviera Resort will be the 15th Disney Vacation Club and luxury resort, featuring approximately 300 family vacation homes, including luxury studios, one- and two-bedroom villas, and luxury villas that sleep up to 12 guests each.
An entirely new category of rooms will be added to the unique accommodations at Disney’s Riviera Resort: Tower Studios, each sleeping up to two people. Striving to balance efficiency and luxury, Tower Studios is a unique new room class debuting at Disney’s Riviera Resort.
You’ll find a hidden fold-out double bed that easily slides out to reveal a built-in kitchen, drawers and a comfortable sofa suitable for the living room.
Each Tower Studio includes a private balcony with scenic views and a seating area for two, offering an intimate, contemporary setting.
Some Disney World Hotels Closing As Hurricane Ian Approaches Florida
Deluxe studios can accommodate up to five people and have kitchenettes. One-bedroom, two-bedroom and large villas offer large, fully equipped kitchens with kitchens open to the living room.
Villas also have private baths and showers, private porches or balconies, and laundry facilities with washers and dryers.

Topolino offers authentic cuisine with French and Italian flavors and beautiful views of the nightly performances of nearby Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Select Disney World Hotels Are Open What You Need To Know • 4 Real Disney Mom
Other dining options at Disney’s Riviera Resort include Le Petit Café, an inviting lobby that smells of freshly brewed coffee by day, and a lively wine bar by night.
Primo Piatto, a new quick-service space reminiscent of fine dining on the Riviera, is conveniently located next to a dedicated pool and Bar Riva, a seaside poolside bar with bright white tiles and cool blue accents. Offer your customers a place to relax with a cold drink and a view of the pool.
We recently stayed at the Four Seasons Orlando and seeing these rooms reminded me of that luxury hotel. (See the Four Seasons Orlando accommodations page.) It’s impossible to tell from the photos whether the finish and attention to detail is up to the level of the Four Seasons, but it compares favorably nonetheless.
A bad thing here would be to criticize the lack of theme. We have passed that road many times. It’s a no-brainer at this stage at Disney’s Riviera Resort. We’ve criticized the exterior concept and mentioned the hazy style of the Riviera countless times.
