What Disney Resorts Are On The Monorail – As Disney World begins to reopen this week, beginning with the annual Passport Previews, Disney Transportation will also resume operations.
While Disney buses have already opened on June 22 with new health and safety changes, other transport options will follow from July 7. While the Skyliner will reopen on July 15, the Monorails should be one of the Disney transport systems first to welcome guests back.
What Disney Resorts Are On The Monorail
Yes, Disney World’s most popular vehicle was seen testing again on property when we visited, and we reported that new changes have been made to the vehicle’s interior. As a distancing protocol, barriers have been placed inside the Monorail to help maintain social distancing.

Workers appear to be putting up more barriers in the waiting and exit areas of the monorail, isolating guests from each other when they can’t social distance within the recommended 6-foot guidelines.
Plexiglas “walls” of this type are used in many places where distance is difficult, and we can see them in other queues as well.

Disney’s Destination Line (ディンターシャート) is a Disney Resort Line. “Disney Resort”), is an automatic monorail in Japan that operates between Maihama Station and Tokyo Disney Resort. The system is operated by Maihama Resort Line Co., Ltd. (舞浜战师ライン, Maihama Rizōto Rain), a subsidiary of Orital Land Co., Ltd., operates the resort.
Legally, the line is built as a “railway” like conventional high-speed rail or commuter rail. As such, passes are available and Pasmo and Suica IC cards can also be used on this line.

Trains on the Ring Line run in one direction only, taking around 13 minutes to make one round.

It is not officially possible to leave the resort from this station, but there is an exit (to the right of DisneySea) that allows access to the Urayasu heliport, Urayasu City Clean Cter, Urayasu Civil Sports Park, and Funeral Hall Urayasu.
Up to four trains operate on the loop at a time, running with a minimum of 3 minute journeys.
