What Disney Hotels Are Open – Milestones are meant to be celebrated – whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, graduation or personal achievement. And now, for the first time since March 2020, guests can celebrate new milestones and stay in the magic of all Disney Resort hotels that are part of the Disney Resorts Collection at Walt Disney World.
The last resort to reopen is Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, which began welcoming guests today. Disney cast members were all smiles when the first guests arrived, and the excitement only grew as guests once again played, ate and enjoyed their favorite sports areas.

Over the course of our reenactment on the Walt Disney World stage, nearly 70,000 cast members have taken on a variety of roles. From housekeeping to business, engineering services to food and beverage, these cast members bring Disney-class service to life. And they sprinkled some pixie dust while doing it, participating in all the themed fun at each resort.
The Disney Resorts Collection also offers a Pixie Land theme park with special benefits for guests, such as early entry to the theme park in celebration of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary and free on-site transportation . Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas have more time to celebrate our theme park milestones and have access to extended theme park hours* at the theme park on select nights. Walt Disney World has released new details on dining and amenities at the Riviera Resort, and the hotel side (not DVC) is now accepting reservations for stays beginning December 16, 2019. In this article, we share details from the press release, a look at the guest rooms and restaurants, and provide feedback about Disney’s Riviera Resort.
We’ll start with the basic information released by Walt Disney World and then follow it up with a section that gives our opinion on how everything looks, price points, and more. Construction Update and Disney Riviera Resort Construction Update.)
Disney’s Riviera Resort is Disney’s 15th Vacation Club and Deluxe Resort, featuring nearly 300 family-friendly vacation homes, including deluxe studios, one- and two-bedroom villas, and luxury villas that sleep 12 guests each.

In addition to the unique accommodations at Disney’s Riviera Resort, there is a new category of rooms: Tower Studios, each of which sleeps two guests. Balancing efficiency and luxury, Tower Studios aims to debut a unique new class of rooms at Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Built into the wall, you’ll find a pantry, closet, and a hidden queen-size bed that easily folds into a comfortable couch for a cozy living room.
Each Tower studio has a private balcony with beautiful views and seating for two, offering a more intimate and contemporary environment.
Deluxe studios sleep up to five people and also have kitchenettes. One, two bedroom and luxury villas offer large, fully equipped kitchens with an open kitchen to the living room.

Topolino’s features authentic cuisine with French and Italian flavors and offers great views of the nearby nighttime attractions of Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Other dining options at the Riviera Resort include Disney’s Café, Le Petit Café, an inviting lobby spot with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee during the day and a bustling wine bar at night.

A new quick-service area, Primo Piatto, reminiscent of the fine dining spots found along the Riviera promenades, is conveniently located near the feature pool, and the Bar Riva , an open-air pool bar with a coastal atmosphere with white tiles and cool. blue accents, offer your customers a place to relax while they enjoy a cold drink and a poolside view.
We recently stayed at the Four Seasons Orlando and that luxury hotel was my first thought when I saw these rooms. (See the Four Seasons Orlando location page.) It’s impossible to tell from the photos if the finishes and attention to detail are the same as the Four Seasons, but regardless, it’s a favorable comparison.
The low hanging fruit here is the lack of subject matter for criticism. We have been down this road many times. With Disney’s Riviera Resort at this stage, it seems like a no-brainer. We’ve criticized the exterior concept art, and now we’ve mentioned the awkward “riviera” style a few times.
At this point, if you’re expecting a short-lived but flowing topic, your expectations are unrealistic. I’m still not wild about the exterior or trend of Walt Disney World themed hotel design, but there is definitely a market for this type of “classic luxury” Disney resort.
The 3 Brand New Hotels Walt Disney World Will Open By 2022
If anything, this interior is better than I expected. The newly released images show the rooms aren’t just the kind of barebones accommodations you might find at a mid-range chain, and the fact that they can even compare to the Four Seasons certainly does. speaks volumes. Now, we don’t expect the finished product to be anything like the Four Seasons, but none of the Walt Disney resorts are on that level.
Besides Walt Disney World and Disney Vacation Club, probably chasing the same audience as the Four Seasons, the most interesting thing here is the new “Tower Studio” room category. We expect a lot to be written about this in the coming months and even years, and it suggests some interesting things.
First, that Walt Disney World follows the trend of “efficient luxury”. It’s something the hotel industry has been doing for years, reducing the square footage of guest rooms to cut costs or offer more attractive spaces and amenities. It seems to be popular among millennials, but I wonder if it’s true. (I think half of what the world means to millennials is just guesswork.)
Second, it’s another sign that Walt Disney World’s main demographic is visitors without children. More guests than ever before are visiting Walt Disney World without children, and that’s a pattern Disney hopes will continue. Designing spaces with visitors in mind certainly makes sense.
More Disneyland Paris Hotel Reopening (and Closure) Dates Announced
Finally, its expected fan angle may “give a bit while still charging”. I don’t buy that. There’s no doubt that Disney’s Riviera Resort is really expensive. Upward price trends are something we’ve witnessed over the past few years, and will likely continue until an economic downturn hits, or Disney loses its brand cachet. The bigger the Tower studios are, the more they cost in dollars or points.
Speaking of pricing, it’s surprising at first because the dates available are all the highest priced during the holiday season. The lowest price at the moment is the Tower Studio at $486 per week the week before Christmas. Standard Deluxe studios start at $662 at the same time.
However, this is the week before Christmas, when prices are sky high throughout Walt Disney World. To put these numbers in perspective, standard rooms at the Wilderness Lodge start at $546 per night during the same time frame. At the Grand Floridian, you’re looking at starting rates of $790 per night.
These prices are unreasonable and in the realm of monopoly money, but in comparison, Disney’s Riviera Resort ranks “good” among the existing Deluxe Resorts in Walt Disney World. Although it is not a monorail from the Magic Kingdom, it is a Skyliner ride from Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which may be more useful in December 2019.
Guide To Early Theme Park Entry At Disney World
All in all, the new details and room pictures from Disney’s Riviera Resort are a pleasant surprise from my perspective. Granted, this is a resort that doesn’t fit my theme preferences and I’m not interested in it as a Disney Vacation Club member, but
