One thing that sets Deluxe Resorts apart from other hotels is their proximity and convenience to the theme park. Transportation options are much more varied and generally better than at luxury resorts.

Unlike mid-range and mid-range resorts where most guests use the bus, Disney Deluxe offers transportation options ranging from rail and ships to buses and even walking distance to the theme parks.

Disney World’s BoardWalk is a quarter-mile walk along the shores of Crescent Lake, full of shops, restaurants and nightlife. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort is located in the middle of the CW Island-inspired BoardWalk section.

The resort’s Luna Park pool was built after the 1920s and 1940s. of the festival, and you will find the “Silent Pool” in the villa section of the resort. By the way, Epcot is just a long walk or boat ride away. Most other locations will require a bus, except for Hollywood Studios (20 minutes by boat or walk).

There’s definitely a lot to love about the BoardWalk Inn. It is located in the heart of Disney World and on the beautiful Crescent Lake. The resort offers a variety of dining options and convenient access to Epcot. However, there are some drawbacks.

The Best Hotels At Walt Disney World For The Holidays

The layout of the resort is confusing; You can easily get lost on windy roads. When dining, guests must first leave the venue and then enter the restaurant from a separate BoardWalk entrance. So it feels like you’re sharing your dining experience with guests staying at different resorts. It lacks a “sense of place” more than any other Deluxe resort, so we tend to prefer other locations.

The BoardWalk is a great place to visit once or twice during your Disney vacation. But – for the money – we want to stay at a resort that looks better, has a better pool and unique dining options and identity. It’s a nice resort, but not the best Disney Deluxe resort for the money.

Located along the shores of Lake Crescent, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is a gorgeous hotel that resembles a 20th-century mansion. late New England Cruise Club.

The resort has five floors with 630 rooms, making it larger than its sister resort, the Beach Club.

Like other luxury resorts, the yachts are close to many Disney attractions. It is within walking distance of Epcot, Hollywood Studios, the Boardwalk and other nearby resorts.

The Yacht Club and Beach Club has the best pool in Disney World, Stormalong Bay. This 3-acre wonderland features a lazy river, sandy bottom, spa, waterslide and pool bar. The resort also has a “silent pool” and hot tub for outdoor relaxation.

The Yachtsman Steakhouse is a fan favorite, and the Ship Shape Health Club is another key resort asset.

If swimming is your top priority, Stormalong Bay is a major selling point for the Yacht Club and Beach Club. Also, The Yachtsman Steakhouse will appeal to those who enjoy delicious food in a spacious atmosphere.

While kids will definitely enjoy the pool and lake activities, we think this resort is best for adults (not kids/families).

Other negatives include the fast food options and the fact that guests share bus and boat transfers.

All in all, this is a great resort if you enjoy luxury hotels, the sea and a great pool. Less if your priority is fun themes for kids.

They both have New England navigational themes, are turn of the century, and are close to Epcot, BoardWalk, and Hollywood Studios. While the yacht is decked out in black wood and brass, the beach club has a lighter orange/green/blue accent and is quieter. Both take a shuttle bus to the theme park and Disney World’s best pool, Stormalong Bay.

Dining at the Beach Club Resort includes Cape May Cafe (a casual dining restaurant), Beaches & Cream Soda (a diner-style restaurant serving ice cream and burgers), and several fine dining areas by the pool.

Other features include a “quiet” beach, a beach along the shores of Lake Crescent, a marina with vehicle rentals, meeting space, conference space and a ship-shaped health club.

If you like beach themes and easy access to theme parks, this is a great resort to consider.

The resort offers delicious breakfasts, an evening seafood buffet, and convenient access to Epcot’s international gates.

Moderate Resorts At Walt Disney World

In contrast, most Beach Club rooms do not have a balcony (Yacht Club rooms have a full balcony).

There’s also no restaurant, no high-end table service (although the Yachtsman at Yacht Club is within walking distance) and further from the marina than the yacht.
