Road and small forest It’s a distraction from the noisy streets of Dublin. And when you don’t expect anything more than a lost sheep. Where did this quaint white farmhouse-like hotel appear?

Enter the hotel, silence, hear your own thoughts. Walking into the lounge feels like stepping into another era. I enter a world of mystery At first I felt uncomfortable. Then I got curious.
While I was making coffee I walked into the garden as I walked into The Importance of Being Earnest or Howards End, flowers, birdsong… I can imagine how a young couple would hide here for a private retreat.
Back in the lobby I quietly enjoyed a delicious brunch. Only two old ladies walked in the opposite direction of me in this little inn, and that brought me sorrow.
The hotel is a gem in the middle of nowhere that will take you back 100 years in time, where it is rumored that a young man accidentally left his hat at the hotel during their honeymoon. When I returned to the hotel 25 years later, the hat was still there. Time is still in this place

This undiscovered place doesn’t seem to have many visitors. But my impressions made me sad. Because only older ladies and gentlemen seem to know about this little palace.
Small hotels are not luxury places. There are no five-star spa treatments, but it has been voted one of the most beautiful hotels in Ireland by the Good Hotel Guide.
This is the place where you want to relax in silence and solitude and maybe travel to another world.
Places where selfies are prohibited The tea and scones are Instagram-worthy, though. Afternoon tea costs €15.00 and is served from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

Nearby Avoca Handweavers Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow and The Garden Cafe at Mount Usher Gardens Ashford Co. Wicklow also has morning coffee and a beautiful garden.
