While Las Vegas is home to many pools built to impress, there are some that leave guests wanting… more.

Pool At Caesars Palace, Las Vegas

This got us thinking – can you use a Las Vegas pool even if you’re not staying at the resort?

It depends. Typically, a “no” answer and a room key are required to gain access to the pool. However, there are exceptions for both visitors and locals living on the property.

Below, we’ll break down the pools you can access (free or paid) even if you don’t live on the property.

Note: Las Vegas is fluid and can change quickly. As always, we recommend calling the pool directly to confirm their current policy before traveling!

Unfortunately, there are currently no resorts that offer non-guest access to their pools. Topgolf below is the only completely free pool in Las Vegas open to the public.

Topgolf’s Hideaway Pool: It may not be a resort, but Topgolf’s 2-level pool is open to the public as long as you’re over 21. Note that no purchase is required. Just show up and have fun!

Tropicana: Local residents with a valid Nevada driver’s license can enter the Tropicana pool for free any day of the week.

Las Vegas Pool Season Is Now Open. Here’s What You Need To Know

Caesars Entertainment Properties: Renting a cabana or couch at the pool of your choice will guarantee entry even if you’re not staying at the resort. Cabanas and sofas can be pre-ordered online with the desired property.

Resorts under the Caesars umbrella include Caesars Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Linc, Harrah’s, Cromwell, Bally’s, Rio and Flamingo.

MGM Resorts Properties: While none offer MGM Pool Day Passes, the pools are still available for those willing to shell out for cabanas or couches. We recommend checking out Mandalay Bay’s Beachfront or MGM Grand’s expansive pool complex. Both are equipped with a lazy river. See cabana rates by resort here.

Resorts that fall under the MGM umbrella include Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, NYNY, Park MGM, Aria, MGM Grand, Bellagio and Mirage.

Luxury Pools & Cabana Rentals

Downtown Grand: Non-resort guests can access Downtown Grand’s rooftop citrus pool deck with a cabana or table reservation.

The Cosmopolitan: Cabana or couch purchases will unlock access to both the Boulevard and Chelsea pools at the Cosmopolitan. The fee you pay in advance is the minimum food and beverage charge that can be spent at the pool afterwards.

The Plaza: The rooftop pool at The Plaza is available to anyone who rents a cabana for $125 on weekdays and $200 on weekends. $50 of this fee is the rental fee, and the rest can be used to purchase food and drinks at the pool.
