Las Vegas Pool Parties Schedule 2022
Sun worshipers, these pools are for you! Not only will you find some of the biggest pool complexes in Las Vegas, but some of these water playgrounds are also on the roof, with real sand, lazy river, wave pool, pad or slide. The energy buzzes non-stop and you’ll always have something to see or do. And don’t worry – there’s upgraded seating, a pool bar and food, of course.
No matter how you decide to try the water on your next trip, Las Vegas keeps you cool by the pool. When you think of Las Vegas, one of the first things that comes to mind is the sunny pool scene.
While summer at the pool is in full swing, many visitors don’t know that the weather in Vegas can be very cold in the winter. With cold temperatures, some resorts close their pools during the winter months.
Many visitors, although often from colder climates, are not afraid of cold temperatures and want to visit the pool while in town.
Las Vegas Strip Pools Reopening For Hotel Guests
I thought it would be helpful to compile a list of Las Vegas pools on the Strip, Downtown, and off the Strip to keep their pools open during the winter.
Bellagio: Bellagio’s beautiful pool deck is open in winter and two larger pools are heated to 84 degrees.
MGM Grand: At the MGM Grand, a heated pool (their Main pool) remains open during the winter months, although much of their 6.5-acre complex is closed.
Aria: The tree-lined pool deck at Aria remains open for business in winter with water heated to 80 degrees. If staying in Vdara you can also use the Aria pool as Vdara closes in October.
Mirage Pool: Tropical Paradise On The Las Vegas Strip
MGM Park: At least one pool at MGM Park, usually the South Pool (pictured below), is open in winter and heated to 80 degrees.
Mandalay Bay: While most of Mandalay Bay’s exquisite pool complex is closed during the winter, they always open at least one heated pool for guest use. The group they assign to use rotates depending on their maintenance schedule.
Palazzo/Venice: The pool deck will remain open and heated during the winter months. However, Cabanas will not be available.
Wynn/Encore: While portions of the pool may be periodically closed for maintenance, the pool remains open for guest use throughout the winter.
Flamingo Beach Club Pool (las Vegas)
Resorts World: One of the newest and best pool complexes on the Strip will remain open and heated through the winter. Set on 5.5 acres and 7 unique pools, this is the pool deck everyone should experience. Note that there is an infinity pool at the south end of the property overlooking the Strip.
Mirage: Even though Mirage’s main pool was closed for the winter, they stayed open and heated the smaller Private Oasis Pool until the mid 70’s.
Cosmopolitan: Cosmo’s Chelsea pool (at the south end of the hotel) remains open to guests throughout the winter and is heated to about 80 degrees.
Plaza: The Plaza’s unique rooftop swimming pool is open year-round and offers great views of D*Face’s “Behind Closed Doors” mural. Both a heated swimming pool and a hot tub are available to guests.

Circa: Boasting 6 floating pools, 2 floating bars and a poolside play area, Circa’s Stadium Swim is easily considered the best pool on Fremont Street. Adding to the appeal is the 143-foot long screen that is always adjusted to the big game.
Downtown Grand: DTG’s Citrus Grand Pool Court remains open throughout the winter, although no food service is available. The rooftop pool gets plenty of sun and offers great views of downtown Las Vegas.
Red Rock: The Sandbar Pool complex at Red Rock is open all winter and heated to 78 degrees.
Green Valley Ranch: The swimming pool complex at the luxury Henderson resort is open and heated in winter. Winter swimming pool opening hours are from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, weather permitting.
Best Pools In Las Vegas For A Refreshing Dip
South Point: Although the pools are open year-round, they usually stop heating in October. It won’t be comfortable, but if you don’t mind taking a dip in cold water, the pool at South Point is an option.
We hope we can help you find a pool if you’re crazy enough to take a dip in October, November, December, January or February. Enjoy your swim – We’ll see you at the counter bar.

Ultimately, I want to help people plan a better trip and save a few dollars in the process.
I’m just trying to find a place where I can sunbathe. All Caesars pools are now closed and I did not stay at any of the listed hotels. Anyone have any suggestions – I’m willing to pay (a fair amount) just for sunbathing.
@KEITH FORTNER Try Circa! I know they let people in and charge a cap that varies from day to day. If it’s a weekend, I’d recommend getting there early so you can claim some real estate.
Thanks for the link – Caesar’s Platinum Player – I’m from Oregon so I don’t go there as often as the locals – However, I play higher than most! I’m very upset with this RESTAURANT CHARGE – the pool is not open, the gym is not used, their internet is terrible and I have unlimited 5G from AT&T, the Rio resort has removed all the cabinets small cold from the room, let’s see what do I have to say? I get my resort fee?? I kept my mouth shut to say I was going to Caesars to gamble and another place that respected my money – by the way – I’ve been coming here for 35 years and never had a drink in my life. Do you need people like me to sink at least a dollar – boom! Dan Adam from Oregon Home > travel blog > USA > Las Vegas > 11 Best Las Vegas Hotel Pools in 2023
