Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, formerly known as the Opryland Hotel, is a hotel and transportation center located in Nashville, Tennessee. The hotel was originally built to support the Grand Ole Opry, a Nashville country music institution that had moved to the area three years earlier. The hotel then has 580 guest rooms and a banquet hall. The Magnolia lobby is designed to resemble a grand Southern mansion with a grand staircase and a Tiffany-style chandelier.
