I recently had the opportunity to do a quick night spin in Orlando as part of my first mileage run. I wanted to review the Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport Hotel and give my brief thoughts about this Orlando Florida Airport Hotel.

You’ll never believe it… but the Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport… is at the airport! This was the first time I actually stayed at an airport hotel at an airport, and it was so convenient!
Of The Best Hotels Near Orlando International Airport (mco) For Families
If you get off at the People Mover in the center of the airport, the Hyatt Regency Orlando Florida Hotel is right there! It must have been less than a 5-minute walk from The Club MCO Priority Pass Lounge where we stopped for a quick snack. Take the escalator to the lobby level where you will find McCoy’s restaurant and check-in desk.
Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport is a Category 3 Hyatt hotel, 12,000 points per night. With so many options, I had a bit of analysis paralysis about booking an Orlando airport hotel, but in the end I went with the convenience of staying inside the airport. The extra point cost was well worth it, especially since Hyatt Place Orlando Airport is no longer Category 1 (Category 2 or 8000 points/night). South at 25,000 IHG points, the Staybridge Suites Orlando Airport was another option we stayed at the last time we were in Orlando.
As with most hotels in the Orlando area, cash prices vary greatly depending on city conditions. When I checked the upcoming dates, I was planning on booking at least $200 per night, plus more nights.
This makes it an attractive option to redeem 12,000 Hyatt points for 2-3 cents per point.

Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport is on the 10th floor. We were in room 8114 on the 8th floor on the corner of the hotel. Although I was not recognized as a Globalist member at check-in, I think I was upgraded from a standard room. I think there was a junior suite.
There is also a large “living area” with a TV. There were no separate rooms with doors or partitions of any kind. Some say it’s not a suite without a door.
An interesting feature I noticed late at night is the under bed light that turns on when I get out of bed in the middle of the night.
The bathroom is to the left upon entering the suite and has modern finishes. Another nice thing I noticed is that the mirror has a small LED clock built into it, so if you use the bathroom in the middle of the night, you’ll know what time it is.
Orlando International Airport (mco) Parking Guide
We requested an airport view room (see below) and were very happy with our view. We got there before 10pm. And the airport noise throughout the night was not a problem. Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport provides complimentary ear plugs.
If you’re wondering if there is an executive lounge at Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport, unfortunately the answer is no. There is no Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport Executive Lounge. If you have sufficient elite status in the World of Hyatt program, you can enjoy a complimentary breakfast at the Hemispheres restaurant on the 9th floor (see below).
Orlando Airport There is no Hyatt Regency Executive Lounge, but Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport has a total of two restaurants: McCoy’s on the main (4th floor) and Hemisphere on the 9th (and 10th) floors. As a globalist, there is no Hyatt Regency Executive Lounge at Orlando Airport, so I ate breakfast at Hemisphere, which serves breakfast at 5:30 AM.
They have an all you can order menu and buffet breakfast. We opted for the hearty buffet. Lots of hot food: eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausages, pancakes, French toast.

On the 6th floor of Hyatt Regency, there is a fully equipped fitness center with a variety of equipment and strength training equipment.
There is also an outdoor heated swimming pool on the 6th floor. The view is good, so it seems to be on the roof.
When I checked into this airport hotel in Orlando, they gave me this bag saying that I was doing a new job for ‘health’. I’m not sure if it’s for all members or only for certain higher tier members (I’m currently a Hyatt Globalist). Had a bar like travel essential oils inside? My daughter said the sleep stick smells like lavender which is sometimes used as a sleep aid.
