We returned to HCB for the first time since Covid hit, this time with our grandson who was the fourth generation of our family to visit the hotel! As always the food was fantastic – high quality and a great choice, including a children’s menu if we needed it. The restaurant staff were very attentive – the service was very fast and everyone was very friendly. The pool and pool bar have been refurbished since our last visit and were very impressive – almost as impressive as the pool bar staff who were fantastic. Nothing was too big. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and attractive and a full cot and baby bath were provided free of charge (which you don’t get in the UK!). The bar staff were still smiling despite having a long summer – the service was just as good as we remembered too! Nightly entertainment was still offered – a repeat, which was disappointing but otherwise really added to the holiday experience. The reception staff were friendly and helpful – they arranged a massage and a taxi for our journey from the airport. Perhaps the most important thing for us as grandparents was the attitude of the staff towards our grandson – every member of staff we encountered got on with him and made sure he had the best holiday too. He was treated like a king! I would recommend HCB without reservation. Thanks, so far!

First time at this hotel but know the resort well. The receptionist who arrived around 8.30pm advised us to go straight to the dining room and make a reservation afterwards. We booked a superior sea view room and a member of staff took us there after booking. The room was large and nicely decorated and the bathroom was a good size with the biggest rain shower I have ever seen. Great view of the harbor from a good sized balcony. Room 354. Right next to Catalonia del mar hotel. The pool area is large and there are plenty of sunbeds and a snack bar. The food in the restaurant was of good quality and always hot. All the staff were friendly and efficient and always ready to help when needed. Great entertainment every night. Nothing unpleasant would recommend to anyone.

I booked a holiday at Hotel Cala Bona based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. This is a great hotel with an older crowd and we would definitely return in the future. We arrived on October 1st and as we were too late for the evening meal, the hotel had left us a delicious salad with bread, water and fruit in the dining room. I found it very thoughtful and I really appreciated it. We were allocated a superior room behind the bar block, the room was ok but we decided to upgrade to a sea front room when one became available a day later. The upgrade cost us €125, but it was worth every penny. We moved to room 304 in the bar area and this room was bigger and had a nice little balcony with green shutters overlooking the harbor.
