1. Read well. Some participating hotel resorts charge for parking, for example. At SixtyLES in New York City, valet parking is $75, which is more than the price of a day pass on some dates. Also, if you want an early morning mimosa or have limited time to enjoy the pool, check the pool hours, including food and beverage service.
