Can You Buy Doubletree Cookies At The Hotel – Doubletree chocolate chip cookies are great, but this chocolate chip cookie recipe is even better than doubletree chocolate chip cookie recipe!! It smells good and is full of chocolate, oatmeal and walnuts. Plus, these are huge cookies!
Did you know that when you stay at the Double Tree Hotel they give you a (small) hot chocolate brownie upon choice? Of course, I know this because I’ve stayed at a DoubleTree many times in my life. But the funny thing is, I forget all the time. So when I came in and they served me hot cookies, it was such a sweet surprise. I’m not sure if they have a variety of foods that they offer for each hotel or if the hotel chefs bake new cakes every day. But there’s a heating pad on the front table, so you’re guaranteed a delicious hot bun with your room locks.
Can You Buy Doubletree Cookies At The Hotel
A few weeks ago we stayed at the DoubleTree Santa Monica and I was surprised again when they gave us cookies. You think I remember my visit, but I don’t, haha! However, I jumped for joy as a kid and couldn’t wait to have every bite.
Doubletree Cookies {famous Recipe}
DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookies are warm, melty and fragrant with the aroma you can see in the dough. They are not oatmeal cookies at all, so when you eat them you wonder what oats are. (Or maybe that was just me?) All I knew was that when I finished the cookies, I wanted more.
I really have a high standard when it comes to chocolate cookies. I love them so much and over the years I have gone crazy. Cookies that are too soft, too dry, too dry, or too dry don’t satisfy my chocolate cookie cravings. My perfect chocolate chip cookies are lightly baked so their sweet and sour taste with chocolate chips is a bonus and they should be delicious.
I usually want fireworks in my mouth when I’m eating chocolate brownies… otherwise it’s not worth the calories.
DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookies figure in a few percent of my thoughts on the perfect chocolate chip cookie, which is why when I created this version I had to make it an even better DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Delusion. Better that is. I just made some changes to the original formula and the results? My favorite cookies. I won’t make any more chocolate cookies ខ្ញុំ unless I do. Oh or those. or those.
Butter: I started my version of this recipe with melted butter. This makes mixing easy, plus I love the flavor it adds. This recipe is written for unsalted butter.
Eggs: A large egg adds structure, and the fat from the eggs makes the muffin moist and chewy.
Lemon juice: Don’t worry, it doesn’t taste like lemon. The acid in the lemon juice activates the baking soda, making the cake softer and chewier. You can substitute white vinegar if needed.
Famous Doubletree Chocolate Chip Cookies
Oats: This is not an oatmeal cookie! Oats are ground into oatmeal and add texture and chewiness to cookies. You can start with whole or quick oats.
Store these cookies in an airy container for up to 3 days or freeze baked cookies for up to a month. You can also freeze cookies to bake when you have instant cookies!
I always freeze cookies in gallon sized bags (like ziploc). Lay them in layers with a paper towel between the layers. When it freezes, the paper towel will absorb moisture so the cookies won’t get wet.
Good luck, just every single one. This is a plus hotel: you only get one (or two). these? You get more than ten!

Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookies {doubletree Copycat}
If you’ve ever stayed at a Hilton DoubleTree®, you’ve probably enjoyed their famous warm and delicious Chocolate Walnut. In fact, DoubleTree bakes over 30 million of these cookies each year! The recipe they love has been a mystery for years, with dozens of cat version recipes being shared online. However, the official formula was never released until recently due to the travel ban, DoubleTree has shared an official formula that has fans all over the world excited!
Today I’d like to share the recipe they released with a few small tweaks of my own. I chopped the walnuts in a bit, swapped the semi-sweet chocolate for milk chocolate and added a bit of flavor (vanilla and cinnamon). I also left out 1/2 teaspoon of the lemon juice because I didn’t find much of a difference to the cookies in any way.
I recommend using a mixer for these cookies, but if you don’t have one, an electric hand mixer will work just as well. Without a hand mixer or stand, the dough will not have the right consistency.
Spoon Level and Flour: If you put a measuring cup in a bag of flour, you will pack a lot of flour. Use a spoon to scoop it into a measuring cup and then level it with the back of a table knife.

Your cookies can also be tough if you measure out excess flour if the other ingredients aren’t fresh. Make sure the baking soda is fresh and your palm sugar is not too hard.
Instead of freezing already baked cookies, freeze the dough! Place the cookie balls on a large baking sheet and freeze until frozen. Once hardened, transfer the frozen cookies to an airtight container or bag and freeze for up to 3 months.
For baking: You can bake cookies straight from the refrigerator. No need to thaw, but you may need to add a minute or two to the baking time. Bake until edges are lightly browned and center is still soft.
