Best Hotels In Orlando Florida – Our time at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando in Orlando, Florida was one of our favorite hotels and we would love to stay anywhere in the world. Waldorf hotels are synonymous with great service, beautiful surroundings, and the best amenities money can buy, all in desirable locations around the world. The staff at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando went above and beyond time and time again to make our week at the hotel, our time at Walt Disney World, and the celebration of our two best friends’ relationship special.
When we arrived at the Waldorf Astoria, even though it was midnight when we arrived, the front desk staff greeted us with a big smile. They welcomed us to the area and explained the amenities, including the Waldorf Astoria Orlando which is now an official Disney resort. As a Disney resort, the hotel has a shuttle that runs to and from the Disney parks, and the Waldorf has all the amenities like park hours, special rates, and other amenities that Walt Disney resorts have. Disney World has them.

The actual check-in took about 10 seconds, which was a relief because we were so tired. We were also given water and the way to our room, where our bags were already waiting for us. Overall, it was the easiest and most helpful experience we have ever had.

The entire hotel has a beautiful seaside feel, with lots of blue hues, light tiles, and surfaces, as well as beautiful seashell decorations throughout the hotel. These are subtle but bring a feeling of being underwater to the overall scene. Marble floors, high ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the hotel’s pool all make the Waldorf Astoria feel more like a palace than a hotel, which makes us all feel we are royalty.
Our rooms are spacious and have beautiful views of the pool, Waldorf Astoria Golf Course, and Walt Disney World Park in the distance. Like I said, we visited Orlando with my childhood best friend and her boyfriend (who is now a boyfriend!), even though there were a lot of things to do. do close to the hotel, obviously we didn’t spend much time in our hotel room.
The large bathroom features floor-to-ceiling marble, a deep soaking tub, a standing shower, and wall-to-wall cabinets that make reading every day a pleasure. Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries stay in our rooms and are replenished daily by housekeeping. We never heard another guest in our room, and we had a comfortable bed and pillows. We slept well every night, refreshed for our daily journey.
As I mentioned, my best friend Jamie got engaged during our trip. Shane, his Australian girlfriend, had told me and Robin that he was planning to date us on our trip. He asked for our help coordinating the production, which I was happy to be a part of!

When we found out that Shane was planning to propose, the Waldorf Astoria Orlando joined us with a lunch and drinks party by the pool.

In my last post, I wrote about our amazing meal at Aquamarine, where I had a delicious Maine lobster and gulf shrimp Spinach wrap sandwich and a Caesar salad with a Strawberry & Mint refresher. Robin had their sea bass sandwich on challah bread and a Prosecco popsicle (which was absolutely delicious), and Jamie ordered their Reuben and Bloody Mary, while Shane still have their pepperoni pizza.

The only dinner we didn’t have with Jamie & Shane during our trip was on the second night, where they celebrated their wedding. This gave Robin time to try the Waldorf Astoria Orlando restaurant, Bull & Bear, which is one of the 10 best restaurants in Orlando, according to Trip Advisor.

The Waldorf Astoria Orlando Pool & Spa are two of the most beautiful pools I have ever seen. Their pool is great and one of the main reasons we booked this hotel in the first place. Surrounded by palm trees, with private cabanas and food and beverage service, a hot tub, and various garden games, as well as a large patio overlooking the pool, I was able to spend the whole week sitting by the pool, reading, swimming. , and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Their spa, which you can read about here, is where I got what was the best massage I’ve ever had. Theresa, aka my new best friend (sorry Jamie & Robin, lol), gave me the most relaxing hot stone massage, but with a twist. Instead of using regular river stones, he used pink Himalayan salt stones to increase tension from the neck, shoulders, back and arms. The Himalayan salt, with its gentle scrubbing properties, feels warmer and more effective than any hot stone massage I’ve had in the past. The spa lounge, pictured below, features color-changing lights and offers refreshments for moments of relaxation and relaxation.
I can truly say that I have never felt so comfortable in my entire life. Theresa also gave me great tips on what to eat at Epcot (Avocado Margaritas at Epcot look amazing but taste amazing! – Thanks, Theresa!), and she told me that He loves his work at Waldorf very much.
