Are The Pools Open In Las Vegas – Although the Las Vegas pool season officially runs from March to October, surprisingly, more than a dozen hotels have pools that they keep open and heated year-round.

If one of your things to do during your winter trip to Las Vegas is an outdoor pool, I recommend calling the hotel ahead of time to confirm that it will be open during your stay.

And while these pools are open, be aware that most services will be limited (restrooms, wait staff, food and bars).

You’ll also notice that there are very few hotels that are part of Caesars Entertainment (CET) that stay open during the winter. So if you want to collect reward points for some players, I would avoid CET.

From north to south, here are Las Vegas hotels that have heated pools and keep them open in the winter so you can swim and sunbathe year-round.

The Sahara Alexandria Pool is open year-round, weather permitting (meaning it may close on random days due to inclement weather).

The Pools Of The Venetian Resort

Resorts World aims to open at least 5 or more of its 7 pools year-round, making this the largest pool in Las Vegas to be open during the winter.

The Wynn Pool Deck is open year-round, but parts of it may be closed occasionally for maintenance.

But this is a very nice pool, one of the best on the Strip, and worth checking out.

But if you plan on using the pool in the winter, I recommend staying at the Wynn because it’s a bit of a walk from the Encore to the Wynn pool.

Las Vegas Strip Pools Reopening For Hotel Guests

The Palazzo and Venetian pools are heated and open in the winter, but the cabanas are not available for rent.

The main Mirage pool closes in winter, but the smaller private Oasis pool remains open but heated to the mid-70s.

This is the pool you want if you’re looking for a Las Vegas pool party atmosphere during the winter months.

The Aria pool is open year-round and is said to be heated to 80 degrees, but many guests say it’s much cooler than this.

However, this is a delight in the dry winter months as it is beautifully decorated with lots of leaves.

For what it’s worth, I think the Aria is a good alternative to the Bellagio if you can’t afford the room rates at the Bellagio.

The pool at the Waldorf Astoria is open year-round and is a great choice for those looking for a calm and relaxed pool atmosphere.

This is an upscale hotel, so the pool is not used much during the colder months.

When Do Pools Close In Vegas In 2022

Park MGM keeps one of its two pools open year-round. Which pool may be subject to maintenance schedule and weather conditions.

These hotel rooms are slightly cheaper compared to Aria, Vdara and Bellagio, so Park MGM is a great choice for the central pool area in winter.

The MGM Grand’s main pool is open during the winter months, but the rest of the pool is closed, including the lazy river.

But the good news is that this pool is for adults only and the top is optional during the summer months.

So if it usually bothers you, you can take the winter off and check it out.

Insider tip. If you stay at the Four Seasons (which closes its pool for the winter), you can use the Mandalay Bay pool for free.

It should also be noted that this hotel (including the pool) is adults only and guests must be 21 or older to stay on the premises.

Additional tip: if you stay at Hotel D, they give you tickets to use Stadium Swim for free.

Insider tip. there are also 12 pickleball courts on the rooftop by the pool. Courts can be booked for free by hotel guests and free lessons are held every Saturday.

You might get lucky with a few pools that decide to stay open until the end of October, but by November all seasonal pools will be closed until March 2023.

The above pools will be open until the end of 2022 and the first half of 2023.

Things seem a little different these days. In general, new sanitation and social distancing guidelines have been implemented at hotel pools, with reservations encouraged if not required. The big, generic entrance crowd is a thing of the past, at least for now, and you won’t see many DJs performing by the water.

Don’t make the mistake of looking at under-the-radar hotel pools, especially if you’re on a budget. Our comprehensive guide includes detailed descriptions, including bed/cabana rates and whether non-hotel guests are allowed.

The pool complex is elegant and contemporary, in keeping with the contemporary image of the resort. Liquid is back in business, but for now the day club is more of an adult lounge than a pool party. Space is limited and reservations are required for chaise lounges, cabanas and cabins. The ski-in pool is exclusive to those staying in the top ski-in suites.

The Blue Pool is a great option for those who want an energetic atmosphere but don’t want to spend a lot of money at the busier day clubs. The main pool is one of the few in Vegas that has a deep end. You also have DJs, palm trees, cabanas and daybeds

Inspired by Tuscany, this pool complex lives up to Bellagio’s laid-back and luxurious image. Five different pools are surrounded by landscaping and patios with some of the best food and drink you’ll find by the water in Vegas.

Elation Pool Café & Bar

The Garden of the Gods is an expansive outdoor pool with seven different pools, waterfalls, a blackjack table, and Roman-inspired architecture. The secluded Venus Pool used to be semi-nude but is now open to all ages. The luxurious Caesars Palace villas have private entrances to the pool deck.

Stadium Swim is a rooftop hotel pool that often takes on the spirit of a day club. The entire space includes six private pools that stand on a massive 14 million pixel video wall with a DJ booth underneath.

Boulevard Pool has some of the best views in Vegas overlooking the Strip. It’s also home to special events, including seasonal outdoor movies. Chelsea Pool is quieter and more secluded. Marquee Dayclub has toned down its entertainment image in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. It is now a lounge with designated seating and the necessary reservations for booths and lounge chairs. The most luxurious option is booking a bungalow, a three-level townhouse-style suite overlooking the Marquee Pool.

It’s hard to find a pool with more wow factor. Located on the rooftop of the Cromwell, Drai’s has an 11-story view of the Vegas Strip. During the pandemic, regular rap and R&B acts are on hold. The food is surprisingly good.

Las Vegas Pools Open Year Round

The hotel pool is located in the Mandalay Bay Pool Complex (cabin available to non-hotel guests starting at $125)

This relatively intimate pool is exclusive to Delano Hotel guests, but is part of the Mandalay Bay pool complex. Enjoy lounge-style music from a DJ while you enjoy a poolside massage or a game of giant water chess. Take a moment to step out and explore Mandalay Bay Beach or the wonderfully eclectic Moorea Beach Club next door. All pools are open again from July 1.

This rooftop pool has great views of the city center and a colorful, cool atmosphere. The 35,000-square-foot deck is rectangular, so everything feels in one place. Special events include Old School Poolside Retro Fridays.

The pool is very family friendly and kid friendly, which is consistent with the image of the resort. One of the four pools is reserved for adults only, but it’s more an escape from the chaos of rambunctious kids than a boisterous party. The water slide is a nice touch.

Blu Pool At Bally’s (las Vegas)

Go Pool has made a name for itself as the only day club in Vegas open seven days a week. It now limits capacity, dampens the image of pool parties and encourages social distancing. His regular summer concerts are also not subject to discussion for now. However, Go Pool remains 21 and over.

One of the best pools in Vegas, especially off the Strip. The sprawling backyard pool complex includes lush landscaping, elegant cabanas and a sandy beach that blend into one.
